X Factor USA's Alex And Sierra To Top Win With A Wedding? 'They're Getting Married Very Soon'

Alex and Sierra have already had what has to be the best year of their lives after winning the X Factor USA this week, but could the loved-up singing duo be about to walk down the aisle too?

The couple were crowned the winners of the X Factor this week after becoming the favourites of this series, but with their mentor Simon Cowell masterminding their career, can they squeeze in a wedding before their fame sky rockets?

According to finalist Carlito Olivero, the super cute pair are already making plans: “I’m excited for Alex and Sierra,” Carlito told reporters after the December 19 finale, Hollywoodlife reports: “I know that they are going to be getting married very soon!”

When asked if he knows that for a fact, Carlito assured reporters: “For a fact!”

Exciting! Fans of the show have been hoping for an on air proposal from Alex during the whole series with many thinking he would pop the question during the December 18 show when host Mario Lopez asked him if he wanted to say some words to his girlfriend. Sierra knew though that her man wouldn't choose that moment to propose:

“We’re on the same page with that, so I knew he wasn’t [going to propose],” Sierra told reporters. “But I was just freaking out because I was like, ‘What are you going to say to me right now?’”

Alex added that he’s felt pressure from fans though: “We kind of went into [the competition] thinking that people were going to want that,” he told reporters. “We went into the first audition with people [saying], ‘If you guys make it to the finale, you gotta propose.’ That’s what I read on Twitter, but that was never part of our game plan. That would also look like we’re trying to get votes.”

Don't expect wedding bells quite yet despite Carlito's comments though with the couple barely having time to tweet since their win let alone plan a wedding. The pair finally managed to make it onto Twitter last night to thank everyone for their support, writing:

"there are just no words to describe how we feel. we are so floored and honored to have been a part of this show. we couldn't even get online after the show because we. cried. the. entire. night. allll night. (yay for messy make up... & yes, even alex!)"
