Last night, former X Factor winners Little Mix, Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, Joe McElderry and Shayne Ward were seen making brief returns to the show in order to coach this year's influx of contestants. But who is the ultimate champion?
Nine winners have been crowned while the show has been on air, each going on to achieve at least one number one single.
In fact, while Steve Brookstein, Shayne Ward, Leon Jackson, Joe McElderry, Matt Cardle and James Arthur have so far only topped the charts once, Little Mix have two Number Ones to their name, and Alexandra and Leona have each landed atop the pile three times.

James Arthur's victory single 'Impossible' is the most successful in the show's history, although Burke's 'Hallulujah' was the fastest-selling. And in terms of albums, Leona has landed two Number Ones, while McElderry has had three Top 10 long-players and Ward, Little Mix and Cardle have each had two.
Cardle was the most-wathed victor, with nearly 20 million viewers watching him reign victorious in the 2010 series. McElderry's year isn't too far behind.

We could talk stats until the cows come home - but who is your personal favourite winner?
Did Steve come in for too hard a battering from the likes of Sharon Osbourne? Is Shayne a forgotten gem? Did people fail to give Leon a chance? Has Matt been unfairly eclipsed by One Direction?
We've lined up all nine of the show's winners thus far in a simple poll below - and now all you have to do is rally behind your favourite.
Who's your top choice so far? And who will be the 10th addition to the list when the current series ends in three weeks' time?
