Before Adele got down to celebrating her triumph at the 2013 Oscars on Sunday, the singer took some time out to reflect on her success and came to the conclusion that her “life is fabulous” now holding the title as one of the most successful female solo artists of the 21st century.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' songstress collected the Best Original Song award on Sunday for her James Bond theme track, 'Skyfall', making it the first Oscar for the 24-year-old, who also took to the stage to perform the Paul Epworth-written ballad during the ceremony.

Speaking to the Daily Mail following her win, Adele revealed she had to sit down for a moment to soak in her success in the midst of the whirlwind.
“When I got back to my dressing room I thought it could have been a bit grim my life. But it's not, it's fabulous”, Adele told the publication.
Speaking of her Oscar trophy, Adele said: “I haven't decided where to put it yet. I want it to be somewhere where I'll see it every day. Bathroom, bedroom, yeah, somewhere like that. I'll fathom it out when I get back home”.
One person who can vouch for how fabulous Adele's career is, is her pal Elton John who has described the singer as “perfect because she's imperfect”.
“She's authentic. She doesn't lip-sync, she comes on and she sings, she's the real deal,” he gushed on the red carpet.
“She's not slick, she's human, she's imperfect, she's what every entertainer should be.”
