The Voice's Tyler James Announces One-Off London Show

The Voice's Tyler James has announced plans for a one-off gig in London later this year in support of his new album.

The singer will play a headline slot at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on November 2.

''I'm loving being in the studio - but can't wait to share the music I'm making with the people who have helped me get to this point," James said in a statement

"Performing live is always exciting as I just love being in the moment with the crowd. Being London-born and bred and performing in my hometown is the best way to start and I hope to see the rest of the UK soon."

Meanwhile, whilst the other The Voice finalists may have been upset with the news that the show's live tour had been cancelled, Tyler James appears to have suggested that he is relieved at the news.

Speaking to us at T4 on the Beach, the finalist who was mentored by Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am said of the tour which was cancelled due to poor ticket sales: "From my perspective, the plus side is that it's freed up my time so I can concentrate on my music because that was a two week commitment."

However, the star was quick to add that he was "gutted" for the fans who now wouldn't get the chance to see the show live.
