A man has been charged with plotting a cinema massacre this weekend at a screening of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2’.

Four months after the tragic killings at a ‘Dark Knight Rises’ screening in Aurora, Colorado, which killed 12 people, a 20-year-old man in Missouri is thought to have been planning a similar thing.

The Springfield News-Leader reports that Blaec Lammers confessed his plan to bring danger to a showing of the film starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to authorities, adding that he had purchased 400 rounds of ammunition.

Police Sgt. Shawn Curtis told Celebuzz that the bail amount has been set at $500,000. However his uncle John Lammers told the website that his nephew is “a good kid”.

He said: “I just heard about it, my brother [Blaec's father] just called me. “We can’t believe it, we’re pretty upset.”

John wouldn’t comment on whether other family members saw any warning signs of Blaec’s behavior, but added he “just saw Blaec this summer at his sister’s wedding.”

According to a statement from Bolivar police, Blaec’s mother had contacted local police with concerns that her son had purchased weapons and might have been planning a movie theater shooting.

On Friday morning, after agreeing to be interviewed at the police station, Lammers told officials that he had purchased two assault rifles for hunting.

He then commented on the recent shootings that had been in the news.
