Taylor Swift's Ex Conor Kennedy 'Supports New Romance With Harry Styles'?

When Taylor Swift first began dating Conor Kennedy, the teenager heart-throb of America's most famous political family, rumours of marriage were quick to surface but though they reportedly split just a few months later, the high school student is still on good terms with his famous ex, and is even supportive of her rumoured new relationship with One Direction hunk Harry Styles.

The couple first went public with their romance in July and though they spent a romantic summer together in Hyannis Port, with Conor's famous family, it appears to have fizzled out into friendship.

A source has reportedly told HollywoodLife: “They are still friendly, and they still talk, and he believes there still is a spark, but they live separate lives.”

Speaking about her rumoured new romance with Harry Styles, One Direction's notorious super stud, the insider claimed Conor has no hard feelings.

“He supports Taylor with her relationship with Harry [Styles],” the insider went on. “He is happy for her in whatever she does. The break was a healthy break with no drama, so he has no reason to be upset.”

Regarding Swift's tendency to document her break up in thinly-veiled pop hits, the insider added: “[Conor] isn’t worrying about a song made about him and doesn’t believe there is a song about him on her new album.”

The relationship between the young Kennedy and Swift certainly caused a stir, with some claiming the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer was just a “Kennedy groupie”.

But speaking to New York Magazine, Conor's cousin, Kick Kennedy claimed the couple were good for each other. She said at the time: “Whatever makes Conor happy makes me happy. I love Taylor; they're pretty cute together.”

It must've been a good break up as Taylor is still being honoured by the Kennedy family next month. Conor's grandmother, Ethel Kennedy will be hosting the 2012 Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights’ Ripple of Hope Awards Dinner at the Marriott Marquis in New York in December where Taylor will not only perform, but also be honoured for her charitable work.

Representatives for Taylor and the Kennedy family have been approached for a comment on the story.
