Strictly Come Dancing 2013: Professional dancers guide

Get to know the 2013 ‘Strictly’ pro line-up of new dancers and old favourites!

It's back!

Last night we saw 15 celebs paired with their pro dancers in the ' Strictly Come Dancing ' launch show.

I'm so excited for the live shows, although I'm not happy about Vincent Simone's departure from the show. Vincent, Flavia Cacace and Erin Boag are out of the pro line-up, as was Aliona Vilani, but she's found her way back in to replace injured Natalie Lowe.

So we've got five shiny new professional dancers to get to know, plus 10 veterans, making the 2013 season the biggest yet. BBC, you are spoiling us. Here's my guide to the 'SCD' pro line-up.

Most likely to argue with the judges

Brendan Cole held the title of Bad Boy of Ballroom for years, but James Jordan muscled in on that territory when he started piping up.

Aliona Vilani likes a row too, and as she's got Tony Jacklin, she'll probably get the chance to defend him when Craig Revel Horwood starts criticising.

Most likely to get pulses racing

Aljaz Skorjanec is one of the new pro dancers, and boy is he hot to trot. He'll help pull in the votes for his celeb partner Abbey Clancy. What a gorgeous pair.

We saw Iveta Lukosiute briefly last year when she replaced injured Aliona Vilani to partner Johnny Ball. This year she's back with a bang, giving off seriously sexy vibes in the opening show.

Most likely to wear skimpy outfits

Ola Jordan, I'm looking at you. The pint-sized pro has an amazing physique so it's no wonder she wears the skimpiest outfits going.

Lovely Robin Windsor is a sure bet to get his torso out on at least one occasion. Well, with pecs like that, who can blame him? I'm certainly not complaining.

Most likely to choreograph funny routines

Janette Manrara has paired up with Julien Macdonald, who showed his sense of humour by being lifted by Anton du Beke in the launch show. If newbie Janette has any sense, she'll go down the joke route.

Karen Hauer will be dancing with Dave Myers, who will surely become a fan favourite if he's given amusing routines that take advantage of his funny personality.

Anton du Beke loves to choreograph hilarity (remember Ann Widdecombe's iceberg and Nancy Dell'Olio's coffin?) but I hope he takes a serious approach, as it seems Fiona Fullerton can actually dance.

Most likely to take it seriously

New pro Anya Garnis will be keen to make a name for herself. Her celeb partner, Patrick Robinson can dance, so she'll have her eye on the prize.

Ditto fellow newbie Kevin Clifton, who also has a celeb that looks pretty good, Susanna Reid.

Most likely to win

Artem Chigvintsev has hit the jackpot with Natalie Gumede, and could life the glitter ball trophy once more.

Kristina Rihanoff is also in with a chance with Ben Cohen, who's got the moves (and the looks).

Pasha Kovalev is dancing with the bookies' early favourite, Rachel Riley. She seemed unsure in the group dance, so if Pasha can improve her skills then her 'journey' (that favourite word) could go all the way.
