The Stone Roses have brought their much-anticipated live reunion forward - to Wednesday night!
The group hit the stage for a surprise warm-up gig before a string of summer comeback shows in Warrington just minutes before WENN went to press.
And tickets, announced just hours before the show on the band's website, were free.
Fans were told they would be given passes to the gig if they showed up at Parr Hall with a Stone Roses CD or T-shirt - and all tickets were snapped up within minutes.
The gig is the band's first live performance in 16 years.
Their first reunion show had been scheduled for Barcelona, Spain on 8 June, and they were not due to perform in Britain until the end of next month at three Heaton Park concerts in Manchester.
