Keira Knightley is a "fun, easy person to be with" according to her 'Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World' co-star Steve Carell.

The British actress teams up with the US funnyman in the new comedy, about two people who find themselves in each-other's company after learning that the planet will be destroyed.

Speaking to The Sun, The Office star Steve said: "Apart from being a great actress and incredibly smart, Keira is just a fun easy person to be with."

On what she would do if faced with the same predicament as her character, Keira said: "If it was the end of the world and I was going on a road trip I’d take my closest friends and family, I’d take Supertramp and Talking heads and some upbeat dance along music."

Steve, meanwhile, reckons he'd just pig out on food.

"I would probably eat a lot of junk food," he joked. "I’d start with Chinese food, Segway into pizza, cupcakes brownies.

"I’d do kind of a sweet savoury rollercoaster, and that might take me through a couple of weeks until my doom."

'Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World' is in cinemas now.
