Spring Wedding! Ronnie Wood 'Set To Marry Sally Humphreys In London In May'

It appears that preparations for Ronnie Wood's wedding to Sally Humphreys are well under way, after the pair were spotted outside a register office in London last week to finalise what will reportedly be a May ceremony.

The Rolling Stones legend, who performed with his bandmates at London's O2 Arena over the weekend to mark their 50th anniversary and proposed to Humphreys in October, was seen office arm-in-arm with Humphreys after spending 15 minutes signing paperwork, according to the Daily Mail.

Ronnie and Sally couldn't have looked happier as they joked around outside the building before the rocker dashed off to rehearsals with the rest of his bandmates.

The newspaper have quashed any reports that the loved-up couple will be walking down in the aisle in a winter wedding on New Year's Day, revealing they are actually tying the knot in May in front of a handful of family and friends.

Previous reports suggested the pair had settled on a January 1st wedding as Ronnie wanted to kick off 2013 with a huge party.

"Ronnie wants a New Year's Day wedding. They are looking at the early days of January for what is available. He wants to start 2013 with a big party," a source told the Sunday People.

"Sally would be happy with a few close friends and family. Ronnie would love to invite everyone so they are going to have to meet somewhere in the middle. He loves a party."

"People are joking he'll have 3,000 guests and she'll have six. Sally won't want a lot of fuss. She is hoping to wear a vintage 1950s dress with sentimental value."

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Ronnie has chosen bandmate Keith Richards and Rod Stewart as his best men.

"He has joked he wants "about five" best men but he is mainly looking at his mate Rod, bandmate Keith and one of his sons. If he can have them all, he will," an insider told the publication.

Whether on New Year's Day or in May, it will no doubt be one of the year's most rocking parties!
