Girls are often throwing themselves at Robert Pattinson, let's face it, he's one of the hottest guys on the planet, but his latest co-star Sarah Gadon has revealed that she deliberately didn't want to get to know R-Patz while they shot 'Cosmopolis'.

The actress plays Rob's wife in the new David Cronenberg film, and their marriage is far from happy and Gadon has revealed that she tried not to become too familiar with the Hollywood heartthrob so that it would come across naturally on screen.

Talking to Grazia, she explained: "I really tried not to get to know him. I know that sounds really strange as he's a lovely guy. But the people we play don't know each other emotionally, even though we're married, so I wanted that to come across naturally on screen. He agreed it was a good thing."

It's not the first time that Gadon has worked with David Cronenberg, but after premiering this movie at Cannes Film Festival, the actress admits that she's now able to become more pickier with her roles.

"When your career is starting off, you're fighting for roles and it can feel like you have no choice in what you get. But I'm getting there," she said.

Well, Gadon nearly missed out on starring opposite Rob as he came quite close to turning down the role.

I thought I was totally oversaturated everywhere, I wanted to do tiny parts (in movies) or maybe no parts at all,” he has previously said. “ I was really, really determined to find ensemble pieces or anything small just so I didn’t have to be in everybody’s face and annoying everyone.”
