R&B singer-songwriter Sevyn Streeter to release debut EP 'Call Me Crazy, But...'
'Call Me Crazy, But...' will be released on iTunes on December 3rd.

You may not be familiar with the name 'Sevyn Streeter' but it's almost guaranteed that you'll have heard one of many songs in the past. With a list of extensive song-writing credits that includes the likes of Alicia Keys, Brandy, Kelly Rowland, Estelle, Trey Songz, Ariana Grande and Tamar Braxton, not forgetting close friend and mentor Chris Brown - Sevyn has penned songs for some of the very best in the game.

So it'll come as no surprise that the twenty-seven year old has decided to take matters into her own hands, as she readies the release of her debut EP 'Call Me Crazy, But…'. Set to be released on iTunes on December 3rd, the seven-track offering includes new single 'nEXt' and the infectious 'It Won't Stop', which features Chris Brown.

Although this is her first solo EP release, Amber Denise Streeter (that's her real name) is no stranger to releasing music in the past, having previously been a member of not one, but two girl bands. First came TG4, who disbanded after a couple of years after low charting singles. But in 2007 Sevyn was asked to join girl band 'RichGirl' after being discovered on MySpace, a move which put her firmly in the spotlight because of her unique voice and vocal ability. Although RichGirl never released an album, they toured with 'Let Me Love You' singer Mario and even landed the prestigious support slot for the US leg of Beyoncé's 'I Am… World Tour' before officially disbanding in 2011.

Since then, the vocalist has signed a deal with Atlantic Records, and Chris Brown's label sector 'CBE' whilst also making several appearances on his past couple of albums, including co-writing the massive 'Yeah 3x', 'Next To You' (which features Justin Bieber) and one of my personal favourites 'Party Hard/Cadillac' from Chris's last album 'Fortune'.

The upcoming R&B star recently premiered the video for her debut single, the smooth 'It Won't Stop', which depicts her trying to keep her summer romance alive as the sun lingers in the background over the beach. As a huge R&B enthusiast, and someone who's been listening to Sevyn's music since the RichGirl days, I haven't been able to stop listening to 'It Won't Stop" and I will definitely be checking out the EP when it arrives - R&B's not dead yet.

The track listing for 'Call Be Crazy, But…' is as follows:

1. Come On Over
2. It Won't Stop (Featuring Chris Brown)
3. Sexy On The Ceiling
4. Call Me Crazy
5. B.A.N.S.
6. Shattered
7. nEXt
