Prince Harry may have done wrong in some people’s eyes, but the Royal is still doing plenty of good among his fellow military men.

Harry’s Artic Heroes – which is named after the Prince is made up of injured soldiers from Afghanistan and Iraq – have taken on the North Pole last year, and this summer made their attempts to climb Mount Everest. Prince Harry was part of their adventure to the North Pole, but while he didn’t join them for their challenge of the world’s tallest mountain, the 27-year-old helicopter pilot is still as proud as can be of the men.

"The mere fact they are up there on that fearsome peak, I find totally amazing. Ladies and gentlemen, these people -- ours and yours -- are extraordinary," Prince Harry said at the expedition’s launch. "To give yourself a challenge of such magnitude as climbing Everest is remarkable. What these guys are proving is no matter what your injury, no matter whether you're military or civilian, you can overcome all sorts of illness, mental or physical."

Prince William's youngest brother acknowledged the noble work of the men and showed them his endless support.

Added Prince Harry, "The importance to me of these guys and what they're doing and the fact that I'm able to support them by being their patron is huge, it's an opportunity I could never turn down.”

Harry’s Mountain Heroes, a documentary centered on the soldiers who seeked to climb Mount Everest will air Monday evening on ITV1.
