Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks were just some of the A-List stars that turned up for one of the biggest events in Hollywood's calender year yesterday, The BAFTA 2014 Awards Season Tea Party.

The Gravity actress looked way younger than her 49 years as she smiled on the red carpet wearing a green Burberry pencil skirt and quirky monochrome t-shirt.

The actress kept the look effortlessly chic by wearing her hair tied back with a braid as she attended the event which saw it's guests served British delights including a traditional British cuppa and smoked salmon sandwiches.

Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch was one of those to fly the flag for Britain at the prestigious event. The actor looked extremely dapper in a grey blazer complete with white shirt and black trousers.

Irish actor Michael Fassbender was another famous face to grace the event. The Prometheus star looked his usual rugged, yet handsome, self as he walked the carpet. The 36-year-old didn't just have his Golden Globe nomination to smile about either, following rumours he has landed a role in the new Star Wars movie after meeting with J.J. Abrams last month.
