Former X Factor star Frankie Cocozza has been off the radar for a while, it's even been a while since we've seen him falling out of a club, but he's caused a frenzy amongst the females after debuting his new locks.

The 19-year-old decided to go for a whole new image and get rid of the greasy mop that he was known for on the talent show.

Cocozza called upon celebrity hairstylist Jamie Stevens to take the task to hand, having worked with him in the past several times.

Jamie tweeted fans: 'I'm going to be giving @FrankieCocozza a new restyle today. The mop is going. I'll be tweeting live Picts later as it happens. From 530 x'. (sic)

It seems that Frankie Cocozza's new do could be for his new job as host of MTV's revamped Super Sweet 16 UK vs US.

The US version of the show has already proved popular on both sides of the Atlantic, and this new season will have Britain's biggest brats competing against the most demanding divas from the US to have the blingiest 16th birthday bash and biggest stack of overpriced resents.

MTV are calling it: “the ultimate transatlantic party clash...hosted by the party pimp himself, Frankie,” promising that it's “going to be a show you’ll never, ever forget.”
