Paula Deen is allegedly being courted for an appearance on the 17th cycle of Dancing With The Stars in a bid to plug the dammage done by her recent N-word scandal.
She has lost deal after deal after deal since the furore began earlier this month, despite an appearance on The Today Show on Wednesday in which she (sort of) apologised for any offense she has caused.

Reporter Rob Shuter had quoted an insider close to the ABC show as saying: "The producers would love to have Paula join the cast of next season.
"They have a history of casting controversial people like Kate Gosselin and Bristol Palin, if Paula says ‘yes,’ you can add her to that list.”
However, a spokesperson for the show refused to address the rumour, saying: "We don't comment on casting until we officially announce."
Paula had previously declined an offer to join the series, saying: "Fat girls don't look good sweating. I've got catfish arms... And I've got - is that a muffin top right there?"
