Outrage As Kate Middleton & Prince William's Honeymoon Photos Leak

An Australian magazine is embroiled in controversy after printing photos of Kate Middleton and Prince William on their honeymoon.

The Daily Telegraph reports that the Duke of Cambridge is seen in floral swimshorts, holding hands with his Duchess, who was wearing a black bikini.

The Seychelles location of the honeymoon was known to many British journalists, but an agreement had been made not to print any photos offered by the paparazzi.

Woman's Day magazine printed 16 images in total, with the headline 'Our Island Paradise' - drawing criticism for implying that Kate and Wills had anything to do with it.

It's not known how the publication got hold of the images in the first place, but a spokesperson for the royal couple said: "It's a very private moment and we would ask people to respect that privacy, as we did at the time."

It's not the first time an Australian mag has broken a royal story deemed out-of-bounds in the UK. Back in 1993 New Idea famously revealed Prince Charles' relationship with Camilla Parker-Bowles, unearthing transcripts of phone calls between them.

They also revealed in 2008 the top-secret news that Prince Harry was fighting in Afghanistan - a story that had been made strictly off-limits to the British press and one that, when leaked, led to army officials sending him home.
