Morello enlisted for Springsteen's new album

Rock legend Bruce Springsteen has enlisted the help of Rage Against The Machine star Tom Morello for his upcoming 17th studio album.

The Boss is currently working on the follow-up to his 2010 album The Promise, and is developing a series of "new textures and styles" for the disc.

According to Springsteen's manager Jon Landau, heavy rocker Morello has been brought in to play guitar on the Dancing in the Dark star's new material.

He tells Rolling Stone, "It was an experimental effort with a new producer. Bruce and (producer) Ron (Aniello) used a wide variety of players to create something that both rocks and is very fresh."
