Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins will spend Christmas behind bars after he was remanded in custody on child sex charges.
The singer appeared at Cardiff Magistrates' Court in his native Wales on Wednesday after being charged with two counts of conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a female under 13 and three counts of possessing, making and distributing indecent images of children. He is also accused of possessing "extreme" animal pornography.
The 35 year old, from Pontypridd, was denied bail and ordered to remain behind bars until his next hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on 31 December.
Two women, aged 20 and 24, from Doncaster and Bedford, have been charged with similar offences and were also denied bail.
Watkins' attorney insists the singer denies the charges.
