They’re known for their fresh alternative style with their printed leggings, tiny crop tops and chunky boots, so now ID magazine have taken the trendy girl group Little Mix under their wing for a very special style makeover.
The X Factor champions, Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who were mentored by N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, look stunning in their new snaps as they rock some Shoreditch style street swag in one shot, with Perrie donning a garish looking black and white printed jumpsuit teamed with chunky black boots.
Jade is styled a little differently in the first shot than the other girls as she rocks a lilac crop top featuring red stripes across the chest and a pair of wacky printed skinny jeans with blue and black wedges.
The second shot features the girls in black and white monochrome ensembles, which somehow still manage to reflect their eccentric style credentials – Jesy donning a cool headband and printed Harrington jacket with tiny shorts and Jade going for a clashing geek chic and popular jock look with glasses and a baseball jacket teamed with high socks and creepers.
Leigh-Anne looks the girliest of them all in a black knit skirt and T-shirt whilst Perrie keeps it cool in a black hoody and sparkly skinny jeans.
On their ID fashion shoot, Jesy said: “We love fashion and clothes so it was great to see how they would style us. We’re really pleased with the results, and we got to keep some of the clothes - which was a result!’’
She also tells the magazine that her style inspiration is Gwen Stefani, whilst Jade and Leigh-Ann prefer the opposite sex when it comes to style inspiration.
Whilst Jade looks to Labrinth for fashion tips, Leigh-Anne would rather copy Will Smith’s oldschool swag.
She said: “People call me the Fresh Princess of Bel Air – I’m that obsessed with his style!”
