The Saturdays have released their first US single 'What About Us' featuring dancehall hitmaker Sean Paul.

The 'Notorious' singers have spent the last four months in the US working with several songwriters and producers, including Diane Warren, in a bid to record a hit single which will propel them to superstardom overseas.

'What About Us' will coincide with the release of the five-piece's new reality TV show, Chasing The Saturdays, which will premiere on E! in January.

The girls have already debuted the track to US audiences at several shows including Atlanta's Jingle Bell Ball this week, and has already charted at number 46 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club countdown.

'What About Us' will be available to download on iTunes on December 18, ahead of the reality show premiere on January 20 in the US while UK fans can catch it on E! from February 3.

Things are moving swiftly in The Saturdays with their attempts at global stardom well underway and Rochelle Humes announcing last month that she is expecting her first child with JLS husband Marvin. It looks like we'll be seeing a lot more of The Sats next year!
