A source revealed to the New York Post: “She has a bunch of projects she want to roll on, but she needs clearence from her doctors.”

“Gaga won't be back in action until September.”

The cancellation of the tour has lead to almost $30 million dollars in refunds for disappointed fans.

It was reported today that the 27-year-old has offered to pay for a fan's hip surgery who is suffering from a similar injury.

The fan, named Emma tweeted the news this week saying: “Gaga herself reached out to me and is hooking me up with her team of doctors, plus others, that did her surgery in NYC as I have been needing a hip replacement for quite some time (my left hip dislocated almost two weeks ago too...I know perfect timing, right?)”

Gaga is currently working on her follow up to 2011's incredibly successful 'Born This Way' titled 'Artpop'.

It was believed that the album was to be released this year, however as a result of Gaga's injury the project could possibly be postponed until 2014, although his has not been confirmed.
