After a month of hiding, Kristen Stewart resurfaced for the first time since her cheating scandal made major headlines and one of her Hollywood mentor’s told her to do so.
The 22-year-old actress was spotted looking a bit somber – and fit! – as she walked to her car wearing Robert Pattinson’s Orioles baseball cap as she stepped out in Los Angeles on Monday.
Her Panic Room costar and elder, Foster, 47, was the person who gave the afflicted Twilight star the push to get out and show her face in public, according to RadarOnline.com.
“Jodie has been an incredible friend to Kristen through this whole situation,” a source tells the website. “She told Kristen that it was no good moping around the house and that the sooner she faced the world and was seen in public, the quicker she can move on with her life.”
The estranged girlfriend of Robert Pattinson has reportedly been crying non-stop since her cheating scandal with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, became known to the public.
“It wasn’t doing her any good hiding and Jodie was aware of that and convinced her to leave her safety zone in an effort to end the media hounding,” the source explained. “While it goes a long way in helping matters, Jodie still thinks she could maybe address her actions with an exclusive interview."
Foster has also strongly defended Stewart – and the media scrutiny she’s been put through – by penning an opinion piece for The Daily Beast.
