Late night American sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live, released a highly controversial parody surrounding the Trayvon Martin case by featuring dress up versions of rumoured couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, sharing their opinions on the case.
The spoof which made it's television debut over the weekend, featured actors Nasim Pedrad and Jay Pharaoh dressed up as the power couple, were asked by SNL regular Taran Killam, who impersonated journalist Piers Morgan, to offer up their thoughts on the murder case, while talking about their supposed relationship.
As Killam introduces the new couple Kanye talks about how it took cops 46 days to arrest the 17-year-old's killer, who has now been charged with second degree murder.
While Kim's impersonator looks on without thought, she later blurts out: “I know. 46 days, that's like half a marriage'. Reffering to Kim's 72-day marriage to NBA basketball star, Kris Humpries.
Kanye later admits feeling sorrow for Trayvon's family and later adds: “Maybe it's just the black man in me.”
While Kim shockingly points out: "I also know what it feels like to have a black man in me."
As the spoof comes to an end, Killam asks the question millions have been wondering for days since the pair unexpectidly revealed their relationship to the world a few weeks ago.
"Is your relationship for real or a publicity stunt?" Kim quickly replies: "It's a stunt." While Kanye insists: "We for real."
