Harry Styles may be able to woo the majority in terms of older ladies (ahem!), however it seems that Katy Perry hasn't fallen for the curly-haired cutie's charms and says that One Direction are 'very cute', but then says that they're also 'very illegal.'
The 'Wide Awake' singer was thrilled when the 1D boys tweeted that they loved her new 3D 'Part of Me' movie, however she wouldn't ever go there it seems.
"Saw the katy perry movie earlier. Wow, what an amazing woman. True talent!" the group posted following a recent screening.
Katy then joked that she finds the teens attractive, but that their young ages deter her from having more than a minor crush.
"They went and just saw the movie and tweeted some really nice things about it. They are very cute boys but very illegal for me," The Irish Independent quotes her as saying.
The 'California Girl' has previously spoken out in support of One Direction, telling The Irish Sun that she is a "big fan" of the group and proud of their success - especially one member in particular.
"They've been so sweet to me every time I meet them, they're like the biggest thing in the world right now. I'm thrilled for the success they're enjoying and love hanging out with them - [Niall Horan] is just lovely," she said.
N'awww. Who doesn't love a bit of 1D??
Meanwhile, Katy Perry has hit out at reality TV talent shows that hire judges who aren't current in the music industry.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: "People have reached out to me about the possibility of being involved and I think that it's not right for me right now. I have ideas for two or three big, creative things and I want to be able to fulfill those ideas. And it's a real commitment to be on one of those shows."
"But I do find it completely hilarious when they hire people that are not current in music and haven't been for a decade or over. Or when they're not even in music. How are you going to give a perspective when you haven't even lived it?"
What do you think? Do you agree with Katy?
