Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge might have had a relaxing weekend in Switzerland where she joined husband Prince William and Prince Harry for a friends wedding, but it'll be back to work tomorrow as the pregnant royal makes a whistle stop tour of Lincoln town of Grimsby.

The 31 year-old will be making a string of appearances around the town, meeting locals and visiting the Fishing Heritage Centre, Fire Station and opening Havelock Academy. The town is a buzz with excitement for the royal visit, with the red carpet being laid out for the Duchess' visit.

According to Thisisgrimsby.co.uk, Kate will be treated to homemade biscuits on her arrival and a musical theatre performance when she opens Havelock Academy tomorrow with pupils excited about her arrival tomorrow afternoon.

Wade Large, 12, told the publication: "I'm pretty excited about tomorrow. She seems like a really nice lady and I hope she'll like our biscuits."

The Duchess will meet students studying photography and hockey, two subjects of which she has a personal interest in. 17 year-old As Level student Frankie Silvester admitted the prospect of showing the Duchess their work was nerve racking.

"I feel very excited about showing Kate my photographs but I'm nervous at the same time,” they said.

"Havelock is a fantastic school and it has changed so much over the last few years and I'm sure she'll be impressed."

Head teacher, Nigel Whittle shares the student's excitement, revealing that everyone was “very excited” about the “special visit”.

"I get stopped in the corridor all the time getting asked what's happening,” he admitted.

"This is a really special event for us."

The Duchess will start her visit at the Fishig Heritage Centre at 11.35am before moving onto the Peaks Lane Fire Station at 12.20pm before ending her day at the Havelock Academy.

Kate, who is four months pregnant, returned to royal duties two weeks ago with a visit to an Action on Addiction centre in south London. She was forced to cancel a string of engagements last December after being admitted to hospital with severe morning sickness.
