Kate Middleton Supports Prince William As He Remembers Princess Diana

Kate Middleton was on hand to support Prince William as he remembered beloved mum Princess Diana during a trip to a UK bereavement charity last week.

The future King and Queen were greeted by more than 100 well-wishers during a visit to the Buckinghamshire head office Child Bereavement UK – a non-profit organisation set up to help parents and children coming to terms with bereavement – on March 19.

Sporting a black Topshop dress, Kate was by her husband's side as he listened to various from bereaved parents about the tragic loss of their loved ones.

“The huge (boost) he gave the bereaved parents and the words he exchanged with the youngsters who had lost their parents were not on camera,” Royal correspondent Jenny Bond later told OK! “He was moved to share his own loss with them and to show them his compassion with a cuddle.”

In a speech addressed to charity attendees, the 30-year old Prince admitted he could empathize their struggle as a result of mum Diana's death following a Paris car crash in 1997.

“You realise I've been in similar circumstances,” he said. “I think you're very brave coming into a situation like this and talking about yourselves. I feel like I should give you all a hug.”
