Kate Middleton and Prince William appointed noted photographer Jason Bell for the christening of Prince George yesterday, Kensington Palace have confirmed.
Bell, 44, is an Oxford graduate who has carved a successful career from his work in the entertainment industry; snapping rock stars, actors and sportsmen including Sir Paul McCartney, Scarlett Johannson and David Beckham, according to the Express.
The snapper - who is not to be confused with his NFL namesake, the father of Nadine Coyle's baby - has also had his work displayed at the National Portrait Gallery.

A statement from the Palace explained: "Jason Bell is a well-established portrait photographer and his work has appearaed in many of the world's foremost publications.
"Many of Jason's photos have been acquired for the National Portrait Gallery."
Bell has also featured in Vanity Fair and Vogue, but has courted attention from some corners of the media for a joke about cocaine he made on his Twitter account earlier this year.

He had told his followers: "In your twenties and thirties you get ‘an endorphin rush’ from a really good line of coke…in your forties, it’s from going to the gym.”
He is thought to be including four generations of the Royal family in his official photos from the christening, with the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George all to be featured.
Yesterday's ceremony was attended by just 23 people, with mother Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, opting for a cream outfit as she showed her firstborn son to the world for the first time since his birth.Back Together?
