As future Queen Kate Middleton may be used to a life of luxury, but she traded in all the comfort that comes from being a royal to visit some children on a camping trip today (June 17).
The Duchess matched style with practicality as she wore Burberry wellies to give the Year 4 pupils of King Solomon Academy Primary on their outdoor residential course.
The kids had gone camping on Friday morning and it wasn't just meeting a Duchess that was a unique experience for the children, as many had never been to the countryside before.
Kate was dressed down in Zara jeans and a Burberry blouse to meet the children, who showed her the teepees where they had slept, far away from the city they know as their home.
As for Kate, she looked relaxed and happy, perhaps pleased to get away from it all after the pressure of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the Queen's birthday.
