Is Justin Bieber considering a career change? The singer took out a pair of scissors during his huge performance at the Jingle Ball on Friday Night at Madison Square Garden and asked the audience whether his guitarist needed a new style!

The teen sensation jokingly threatened to cut the long locks of the musician during his performance at Z100's annual Christmas event on Friday night in New York.

Thousands of screaming teens voiced their encouragement, but the 18 year-old decided against the bold move and carried on with the show instead.

He went on to tease the crowd of adoring tweens with a sprig of mistletoe, offering not even one kiss to his loyal fanbase.

Justin was the final act in the star-studded show, following performances from Taylor Swift, One Direction, (yep, we know what you're thinking - Taylor and Harry totally went home together afterwards. Washbag and all!) Ne-Yo and The Wanted.
