Recent reports have suggested that Justin Bieber has turned into bad boy Bieber after it was claimed that the teen superstar has been up to no good, including getting stopped by the police.

But it appears Justin isn't such a bad boy after all when the 'Baby' hitmaker explained the reason why the police have stopped him when he's been driving in the past.

Appearing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the star who is also gearing up for his SNL performance, told the host:

"You know what, the police really like to pull me over."

Admitting that it's the tint on his windows that attracts police attention, Justin, who was recently spotted out with rumoured ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, added:

"I don't do anything, I promise. It looks bad, you see pictures of me, but really, the tints are really dark and a lot of the times they'll pull me over. I don't want to cause accidents because people are trying to take pictures and I thought it would be more safe for everyone else if I had dark tints.

"I'm having fun being 18 and enjoying my life and being responsible."

The star also joked that Chuck Norris was his father. Having been presented with a picture frame of the star, Justin declared:

"Crazy news, breaking news: Chuck Norris is my father."
