Jim Davidson is reportedly set to make an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother despite being on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of sexual offences.
The comedian had to pull out of the Channel 5 show after his arrest this week, when allegations of sexual assault came to light and he was questioned by police in relation to Operation Yewtree, the Jimmy Savile inquiry.
Allegations were made against the 59-year-old by two women who said that Davidson "groped" them when they were teenagers, claims that he has strongly denied.
He was released on bail without charge but he was forced to pull out of CBB and a source at the channel said: "Everyone has agreed that it's for the best."
However, according to the Daily Star, Davidson has changed his mind and after talks with his legal team, he will now enter the house at some point during the series as, even though he is on bail until March, there are no legal reasons why he cannot take part in the show.
A source told the paper: ''Jim is still in shock but hasn't done anything wrong and is determined to hold his head up high. He has vowed to clear his name.'''Big Fat Quiz' In New Controversy As Jack Whitehall & James Corden Inadvertedly Reveal Viewer's Phon
