Jennifer Hudson Offers Beyonce Advice For Baby Blue: 'Girl, Get Your Sleep'

Sleepless nights, feeds and dirty nappies is what's usually associated with a newborn baby, and Jennifer Hudson has given Beyonce a tip to make sure she makes the most of baby Blue, as she said: "Girl, get your sleep!"

Jen, who worked with Beyonce on their Oscar-winning film 'Dream Girls', has a two-year-old son David and now she's happy to share her tips with the new mum.

At a Good Housekeeping event earlier this week to celebrate her cover of the magazine as well as her new book I Got This: How I Changed My Ways And Lost What Weighed Me Down,

Hudson said: "Girl, get your sleep! We talked about this when I had my munchkin. It goes so fast. She's going to look up and [Blue]'s going to be six months. Next thing you know, she's going to be walking."

The singer also added: "Embrace it. Especially because of the lives we live, a lot of times other people have to care for themselves and you have to have that mommy time."

Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z were said to have bought their newborn daughter Blue Ivy home in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
