The votes have been counted and verified and I can now reveal that your X Factor winner is...James Arthur!

Entertainmentwise readers voted James Arthur as the artist they wanted crowned X Factor winner.

The results reflected just how much you love the alternative singer/songwriter from Middlesborough. James Arthur came out on top with approximately 35% of the vote. But he's got his work cut out for him if he wants to win the real thing. James is eager to improve his performances, which in the last week saw him in the bottom two.

Speaking to Entertainmentwise's Georgie Barrat at the Amy Winehouse Foundation Ball last night, James said: "I'm going to be coming back fighting. I'm going to be giving that extra bit more. I'm going to be doing a couple of very good songs.”

Jahmene closely followed James, coming in second with a respectable 28% of the vote. The soulful singer from Swindon has impressed judges and the public alike throughout the competition and was initially backed by the bookies as a favourite to win.

The ever divisive Rylan came in third with approximately 19% of the vote. Seems like his disco dancing and pop-tastic performances are wearing a bit thin with you guys. We know one person who want be voting for Rylan and that's Frankie Cocozza. We reported this morning that the 'She's Got A Motorcycle' singer labelled the singer as a novelty act and said that X Factor was 'F**ked'.

Coming in fourth with approximalty 13% of your vote was dishy boyband Union J. Seems like the boyband isn't pressing your buttons anmore, and especially not the 'vote' button. Maybe they will pull something out of the bag to impress for their final performance.

Oh dear, poor old Christopher Maloney hasn't had the greatest week so far has he? Maloney is well behind the other lads in last place with just under 5% of the vote. But perhaps his army of loyal fans will come out and show their full force this weekend.

We CANNOT wait for the final this weekend. Do you reckon our poll will reflect reality at the weekend?
