Gwyneth Paltrow has joked that she will send an image of her abs to pal Madonna when she was asked whether she had better abs than the singer.

Despite refusing to agree that her abs are "far superior" to Madonna's, the Iron Man 3 star did joke that star wouldn't want to "rub it in".

Speaking to ITN.co.uk, the actress who appeared in a jokey moods said: "No, I don't think I would. Why rub it in? Let's face it. I'll Polaroid my abs and text them to her."

She added: "I think people think I have a healthier image than I actually have. I'm very about balance in both things. Always do a little of the bad stuff while you're trying to be good", according to the Mail Online.

As Gwyneth joked about her abs, she also admitted at a press conference for her new film, Iron Man 3, that she was left feeling "confused" with the film.

She said: "I was surprised because normally when we were on set I find it difficult to follow the plot of these on paper, and who's getting shot with what, it's all very confusing but the movie plays so well and it was so much fun to watch"

However despite being left confused with the film, she admitted that she enjoyed watching the film with her kids, Apple and Moses.

She said: "We all saw it last night together with all of my kids friends,  we saw it together, and everybody loved it,  including myself I was really surprised..."
