Gangnam Style Knocks Justin Bieber From YouTube Top Spot

25 November 2012

Earlier this week we reported how PSY's monster hit 'Gangnam Style' was on course to take Justin Bieber's YouTube record, and now we can reveal that the hit song has taken the crown for the most viewed video of all time!

Bieber's power seems to be diminishing as the 2012 hit swept past his 2010 video for 'Baby' this weekend. PSY's vid has now been viewed a mammoth 814 million times whilst Bieber has stalled at 804 million.

This is even more impressive considering 'Gangnam Style' was only released in July of this year. The fact that celebrities have jumped on the dance routine band wagon has surely helped the views with everyone from Strictly's Bruce Forsyth to Britney Spears having a go at the now infamous horse riding move.
