Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are said to have broken up and rumours have suggested that it was Selena who split with the ‘Boyfriend’ star, but now it’s been claimed that Justin lost his temper over a picture taken of the actress at work, kissing her co-star.

Last week, it was rumoured that Selena was left unimpressed by pictures of Justin hanging out with Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin following the show in New York but apparently it wasn't these pictures that lef to their split.

A number of sources have told E! News that the split has been a “long time coming”, and that both of the young stars were jealous of each other

A new picture has emerged of Selena kissing another man on the set of Parental Guidance, and even though it was her co-star for a romantic scene, Justin was not a happy bunny, according to an insider.

"[Justin] freaked out on that," said one source close to the former couple. "He would get jealous and she wouldn’t tolerate it.”

While a second insider that was also close to the young stars could confirm whether the on-set picture had led to the demise of the two-year relationship, but did add: “Justin was very jealous of it. He knows it was a photo of them filming, but it still made him jealous.”

But while one insider has claimed that it was the former Disney starlet who “wouldn’t tolerate” jealousy, another source says that it was a two-way street. “They’re young. Of course they have their jealous streaks. Justin has gotten jealous, and so has Selena.”
