Another famous name has apparently waded into the Jackson family custody fiasco, according to reports Diana Ross will be the one to sign off on any new custody agreement.
Ross was a close friend of Michael and now his family has become embroiled in a heated battle over custody of his three children, Diana is allegedly keen to have her say.
A source has told RadarOnline that the superstar singer is ready to do her part and help get the best outcome for Prince, Paris and Jackson. According to the report Ross will sign off on a new proposed custody agreement in which the trio will have two guardians, their grandmother Katherine Jackson and TJ Jackson, son of Tito, who the children are currently staying with. The source says:
"Diana has no qualms whatsoever about the new custody agreement, she only wants what is best for the children. Diana knows that the children are old enough to decide who they want to live with and she defers to what they want. While Diana hasn't been a big part of their lives because she lives on the East Coast, she is very fond of them"
According to Radar, Jackson's will stipulated that if his mother was unable to care for the children, Diana Ross was his next choice.
Last week, Judge Mitchell Beckloff, stripped Katherine Jackson of her guardianship of the three children because no one could reach her for over a week after she left the family home. Judge Beckloff then apparently told all parties while in court, that Diana Ross, and Debbie Rowe, mother of the two oldest children, needed to be kept informed of what was happening in the case.
The nasty family row has been going on for weeks now as Michael's siblings, Randy, Jermaine and Janet Jackson battle over the late superstar's will, which they claim is fake. The children are currently staying with Michael's nephew TJ as a temporary measure whilst the new agreement is worked upon. Last week, it was announced that Katherine and TJ Jackson, would be petitioning to become co-guardians of the children with the paperwork expected to be submitted to court this week.
