'I Almost Cried': Alex And Sierra Get Stuck Into Their Routines For The X Factor USA

11 November 2013

Following last week's voting glitch which saw all 13 X Factor USA finalists having to perform again, it appears talented couple Alex and Sierra are doing all they can to stay in the competition.

Ahead of the live show on Wednesday, Alex and Sierra have been hard at work learning their routines for their performance on the show. In fact it appears that they have been working so hard that Sierra almost cried.

Taking to Twitter to tell their fans and followers of their progress, Sierra posted on the social networking site yesterday:

"Four hours of routining this morning! we're in a MUCH better place than last night. i almost cried about 20 times baha. let's do this! ~S."

However, with perseverance on their side, the couple appear to be in good spirits as they jokingly tweeted: "Our choreography actually makes our song this week.... WE DON'T HAVE TO LOOK AT EACH OTHER ;) bahaha. really though, we're excited! ~A&S".

We are too!

Whilst Alex and Sierra won't find out their fate on the show until later this week , the couple's mentor Simon Cowell obviously appeared to be impressed by their performance on the show last week when he tweeted:

"Alex & Sierra best they've sung so far."

The couple also decided to show off their bond with their fellow X Factor finalists as the couple posted a picture of Sierra being carried horizontally by Restless Road. Having posted the picture, the couple added the caption:

"Backstage besties :)"
