Christine Bleakley has hit back at Twitter users who have been sending her critical and often threatening messages.
The presenter took over from Holly Willoughby as co-host of ITV1's 'Dancing On Ice' late last year, and the new run kicked off earlier this month.
Mail Online reports that messages directed at Bleakley have included that she "deserves to die" and that she is "the ugliest presenter on TV".
She told The Sun: "The fuss is ridiculous! If two or three people are wanting to say something that is not nice out of ten million watching then that's fine.
"I was overwhelmed by the lovely comments I got and that's all I focus on."
Speaking to the Daily Star, her sister Nicola jumped to her defence. "I don’t understand why such nasty and personal comments are written. But you’ve got to take it on the chin. We know the truth.
"It annoys me that anyone would think badly of her as anyone knows she is such a genuine person."
The star was reportedly close to pulling out of last weekend's episode, after falling ill.
