He’s being linked to his former girlfriend Rihanna, one of the world’s biggest fashion icons, so it’s no wonder that Chris Brown has signed up to get his style revamped.

The 23-year-old ‘Yeah 3x’ singer has signed up to a new management agency in order to help his ‘’style evolve,’’ just like his rumoured missus RiRi, who often tops best dressed lists in her designer wear due to her substantial style team.

Chris, who has been surrounded by controversy ever since attacking Rihanna at the pre-Grammy awards bash back in 2009, has reportedly hired Wilhelmina International to represent him in a bid to land more fashion and beauty endorsements.

But we reckon it gets a little deeper than that. After it emerged this week that Chris Brown’s posters in Germany were vandalised by battered pictures of Rihanna after the attack, we presume that Brown wants to re-establish his image as, well, not a ''bad boy.''

The new agency has signed up Chris to its artist management division and will actively seek promotional deals for the rapper.

"Art and style has always played a significant role in my life," Chris explained to WWD. "It's evolved with me throughout my career."

Willhelmia International is responsible for landing celebrities some of the biggest advertising deals in fashion and beauty promotion – and the company also represent Black Eyed Peas star Fergie, who has recently landed a lucrative contract with Wet N’ Wild cosmetics.

But landing Chris fashion endorsements may be a problem when it comes to the fashion industry – who may be weary of signing the star to promote a product due to the 2009 assault, and generally thwarted reputation.

The director of Willhelmina Men, Taylor Hendrich, begs to differ however. He said: ‘’Chris Brown is a… multifaceted artist with a unique take on style," Taylor revealed. "And we are excited to translate and extend his brand."
