Cheryl Cole has admitted that she was relieved when she was axed from the X Factor USA.
The star, who had quit her role a judge on the UK version looked set to make a name for herself in the US sitting alongside Simon Cowell. However, just weeks into the job, the star was sent on a plane back to the UK.
Believing that she was livid with Simon for sacking her and replacing her with Nicole Scherzinger, reports soon started to suggest that her friendship with the media mogul was over. However it appears that Cheryl wasn't as annoyed as the reports made out.
Revealing on the Graham Norton Show that she wasn't angry with Simon's deicsion to drop her from the panel, the 'Call My Name' star told the host: "There was no anger, just relief. [I thought] let's make some music."
Revealing that everything between her and Simon is "fine", the star who performed at the Capital FM Summertime ball over the weekend, added:
"No, we've made up - we're fine."
