Cheryl Cole has become the favourite to replace Jessie J on BBC singing show The Voice.
With news that the ‘Domino’ singer is to leave the show her to concentrate on her solo career, Sky Bet has found that the ‘Call My Name’ singer is leading at 7/2 out of a list of stars including Paloma Faith, Emeli Sande and Gary Barlow to line up for the seat on the panel next season.
However, Welsh crooner Tom Jones may be in control of who sits on the panel if he is to stay on for the next season of the BBC reality talent show.
He told comedian Rob Brydon: "One of the things I said I need to know is who the other coaches are, because I don’t want to be sitting there with somebody that I don’t admire or particulary like…there are a few of them!"
Cole, who was sacked from X Factor USA last year, is reported to be a big fan of The Voice.
Bookmakers found potential judges Paloma Faith 8/1, Emeli Sande 10/1, Beetles legend Sir Paul McCartney 25/1 with odds on Gary Barlow 12/1 if he jumps ship from ITV’s X Factor.
