'X-Men: Days of Future Past' director Bryan Singer is certainly aiming high with his new installment in the superhero series, bringing together the casts of the original triology and the reboot 'First Class'.
Yet it seems he's had a little help from a director who utilised the power of time travel in his own breakthrough movie, 'The Terminator', James Cameron.
"It's epic. I don't think people realise how big this movie's going to be," Singer told Empire. "We get to bring both casts together. We've cracked it in a way that it makes sense. I had a two-hour conversation with James Cameron about time travel, string theory, multiverses and all that."

Cameron's 'Terminator' has long been praised by those with an interest in the possibility of time travel, as the film's circular narrative (whereby John Connor is actually fathered by the movie's protagonist) avoids most common paradoxes that make time travel seem impossible.
Singer seemed aware of this, saying: "You have to create your rules and stick wtih them. That's why 'Terminator' and 'Back To The Future' work so well. And there are certain mechanisms in X-Men, certain powers, perceptions and characters, that make this possible."
While many would question the assertion that 'Back To The Future's' take on time travel works quite as well as 'The Terminator's' it certainly seems that Singer has an epic movie in store.
The film will star Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore and Hugh Jackman.
Singer also said that he'll announce further additions via his Twitter account.LISTEN: Little Mix Debut 'Change Your Life' Remix In The Midst Of UK Tour
