With the final episode of Broadchurch set to answer many questions that have left viewers of the hit ITV murder mystery puzzled, it has been claimed that Joe Miller will be the one identified as Danny Latimer's killer.

Revealing that the odds on Joe (Matthew Gravelle) being the one who will be revealed as Danny's murderer at 4/7, the Mirror has reported that the character is the top of people's 'whodunnit' list with the likes of Nige Carter and Beth Latimer odds being at 10/1 and Danny killing himself at 14/1.

Speaking of the bets placed over the show's culprit, spokesperson for Ladbrokes, Jessica Bridge said: "This is the most exciting whodunnit since Lisa shot Phil. All the early money suggested the newsagent would soon be making the news himself but punters are now siding with the favourite.

"It would be a nightmare result if either are revealed as the killer."

Who killed Danny Latimer? (ITV Pictures)

Whilst we wait for the final episode of the series to air next week, the publication reported the show's creator Chris Chibnall saying of the great Broadchurch whodunnit:

"You can watch Broadchurch multiple times and be able to work out what are the clues and what are red herrings...there are little box set gifts in there, if you like. That is the joy of doing eight parts.”

In the run up to the final episode, ITV released a series of video teasers to entice viewers into finding out who killed Danny.
