Britain's Got Talent 2013: Who Made It Through To The Live Finals?

Britain’s Got Talent, TV’s favourite variety competition has toured the country to find all the best new talent, and tonight auditions have come to an end.

It’s the only competition where you can see singers, dancers, impressionists, magicians, animal acts, musicians and ventriloquists all in one place. Competing for the ultimate prize of performing in front of the Queen at The Royal Variety Performance, contestants turned up in their thousands over several weeks, hoping they have what it takes to get them through.

The show started with David telling Simon to remember “It’s not me me me.” The self- obsessed judge needs to be aware that the show is about the contestants, and not himself. Their blossoming bromance has developed over the weeks, with David often winding Simon up by putting through joke acts and bringing out a fun side to him. James Moore, a 24 year old magician kicked off the show with an impressive act and good stage presence. Freelusion also pleased Simon and co, with him telling them it was like looking 10 years into the future. The talent has really stepped up with the singers this year as guitar singer Modupe was told by Alesha “It was like watching an accomplished singer.”

Simon and Amanda Having Fun At Auditions While A Pensioner Sings 'Kiss My Ass'

David told wig wearing ‘Meat Diva’ he found their performance ‘erotic.’ Simon wasn’t as taken by the couple who told them it looked like their wigs had fallen out of a Christmas cracker. “What the b****y hell was that?” he asked his fellow judges as they were put through to the next round. Gabz 14, entered the stage with her onesie and cap, singing a catchy melody she had written herself. Simon told her that despite not being the greatest piano player, she is very very likeable and she had Amanda and Alesha joining in with the chorus.

For the second part of the show we saw the judges deliberating over who to put through to the live semi finals, which start tomorrow night. The acts were divided into small groups and waited to be told of their fate. ‘My funny valentine’ singer Alice Fredenham, who also tried her luck with BBC rival show The Voice but failed to make it through, was ecstatic to be told she would be staying.

The Lumanites- a fresh, quirky band who got the audience going at their audition and sailed through to the next round, were also delighted to be told they would be competing in the semis. The ‘CEO dancers’, were amongst the group going through to the next stage. Cute children jumped up and down excitedly as they were told by Amanda they would need to take some time off school, as they had been picked for the live shows. Tune in tomorrow at 7.30 for the start of live semi finals.
