As Big Brother 2013 draws to an end on Sunday, we take a look back at all those past winners and see where they are now.
There have been 144 housemates to walk through the doors of Big Brother. Some come to experience life within the house, others seeking fame and fortune, but whatever happened to the former BB winners after their 15 mintues of fame?
When the show kicked off in 2000, the very first person to be crowned BB winner was the loveable Craig Phillips. After giving away his prize money, Craig made a juicy £5 million fortune as a DIY expert on shows such as 60 Minute Makeover.
The second series of the addictive show saw Brian Dowling winning the BB winner title in 2001. Probably the most successful since going on the show, the former flight attendant - who came out as gay to his parents two weeks before going through the BB doors - had the nation in stitches with his great sense of humour. Matt Lucas has even said his Little Britain character Daffyd Jones was inspired by Brian's reaction to Josh's arrival in the house. Brian now lives in London and does TV and radio work. He later went back into the house for the celeb version in 2010, proving he was the ultimate house mate before landing the host job when Davina McCall departed. Only for Emma Willis to snatch the role this year.
In 2002 we saw Kate Lawler win the series, however the real star of that year was Jade Goody. Kate is now a popular DJ across the country, with a spot on Kerrang! radio.
A BB winner that had a rollercoaster ride in the BB house but is now doing alright for herself, is Nadia Almada. Winner in 2004, the first ever transexual housemate suffered from severe depresson once out of the BB house. She is currently producing her own jewellery brand and like Brian Dowling, briefly went back to the house for the Ultimate Big Brother series.
A BB winner that warmed the nation was 2006 champ, Pete Bennett. After briefly dating fellow housemate Nikki Grahame, Pete married his ex-girlfriend Cherry in 2010, as seen on reality show Four Weddings. However six months later they divorced but are still friends. He still tours with his band The Love Dogs.
Fast forward to 2010 and we saw loveable Bristolian Josie Gibson win the series. She returned to the house to take part in Ultimate Big Brother but left two days in as she didn't feel comfortable with the other celebrity contestants. She now has her own keep fit DVD, is a showbiz reporter for Channel 5 show OK! TV and since 2012 has written a column in Now magazine called Just Josie.
Last year's winner was chef Luke Anderson from Cheshire. He appeared on this year's Big Brother's Bit On The Side but only time will tell what's in store for the South-African-born winner.
