BGT Pudsey Signs £100k Book Deal

Pudsey the dancing dog won the hearts of the nation when he recently won the sixth series of Britain’s Got Talent alongside owner Ashleigh Brewer – securing a £500,000 prize fund and a contract with Simon Cowell’s Syco management team.

But now Pudsey will be able to add to his ever-increasing fortunes as it has been announced that a book will be released documenting the story of his life in a deal worth £100,000.

An insider has revealed details to The Sun, “Pudsey's story will be a fascinating read… You might laugh, but this book will sell. We're getting a ghost writer as obviously Pudsey can't write a book himself - let alone speak English. The plan is to get it out for Christmas and make it a must-have coffee table book.”

Orion Books will be publishing Pudsey’s story and already have experience at ghost writing for famous dogs, recently releasing the autobiography of footballer Roy Keane’s Labrador, Triggs.

Since winning the popular TV talent contest, Ashleigh and Pudsey have been in high demand, both in the UK and overseas. The duo reportedly turned down an appearance on American Idol after being invited on to perform by producers, and there are rumours that a single could be in the works following discussions of a pop career for the loveable canine.
