She's been looking so fabulous lately that someone must have told her she could still look good in a bin bag, but oh, were they mistaken.

Anne made the error last night of crossing the line when it comes to dominatrix attire at the Les Miserables premiere held at the Ziefeld Theatre in New York.

The newly slimline star, who has been proudly boasting her 25lb weight loss at the world premieres of Les Miserables in an array of statement gowns, looked like quite the traffic stopper in her latest ensemble.

The 30-year-old actress, who plays factory worker Fantine who is forced to turn to prostitution, could have been mistaken for a 'lady of the night' herself as she put the wrong foot forward in a pair of Tom Ford bondage-style gladiator stilettos.

Playing on her risque fashion choices in recent months due to her new waif-like figure and cropped model-like hair, Anne was feeling a little too confident as she donned the custom made vegan leather clobbers featuring dominatrix style buckles.

Trailing up all the way to her thigh, the boots consisted of raunchy cut out sections which flashed a bit of her pale skin as the clonky boots clashed disastrously with her bin-bag style black gown by the same designer.

Anne looked as if she had been wrapped up in rubbish bags with the outlandish shiny texture of the gown with it's bizarre parachute-like cape and ruched design.

The only aspect of her red carpet look that she gets top marks for from us would have to be her make-up, which matched the dark ensemble gorgeously with vampy lips and matte pale skin.

Anne had looked elegant earlier in the day where she hit up the late show with David Letterman in a red vintage inspired floral dress simply teamed with black pump heels and red lipstick for a Spring feel.

The Hollywood actress discussed her recent weight loss and her role as Fantine in the movie musical. Les Miserables comes out in cinemas on December 25.
