A self-portrait by the late singer Amy Winehouse is to be auctioned later this week. The piece, named ‘Ladylike,’ was created with the singer’s own blood before she tragically died last July of alcohol poisoning.

The Belfast Telegraph report that Amy’s macabre creation is estimated to raise between £50,000 to £80,000 on Friday when it goes under the hammer at the Cob Gallery in London.

Also for sale at the same auction will be pieces of artwork created by Amy’s friend and former Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty, who also prefers to use his own blood instead of paint.

As well as Pete’s paintings, which were recently exhibited at the gallery as part of his ‘On Blood: A Portrait of the Artist' show, will be trinkets, clothes and guitars which belong to the controversial 33-year-old rocker.

Other items are expected to fetch anywhere between £50 and £12,000, and include Pete’s used notebooks, his military jackets and his traditional writing desk decorated with engraved profanities by the ‘Killamangiro’ singer.
